A visit of Micro-Nano Technology Center Minatec®, located in Grenoble, is organized on Friday 15th morning. It will be followed by an optional visit of Tronics Microsystems in Crolles and Soitec in Bernin in the afternoon. The visit of Tronics and Soitec will be limited to a number of 35 people (the registrations will be made on a first come basis but the companies reserves the right to check visitors affiliation).
Please, notice that, due to administrative clearance, interested people need to register no later than May 31st. Buses will pick up registered participants at the conference site, Friday 15, 8:15 am for an arrival at Minatec at 9:30 am. Participants not visiting Tronics and Soitec will be brought back for a drop off at the conference site at around 3pm. Participants additionally visiting Tronics and Soitec will be brought back at the conference site at around 7pm at the latest.
In the morning, participants will have a general presentation of the Minatec® concept and its three fold activities (Research, Industry and Education) before visiting the 200 mm MEMS line located in the “Batiment des Hautes Technologies” and the associated main nano characterization tools. The visit will be followed by a lunch in Minatec® premises with representatives of the MNT teams working at Minatec, allowing, if needed, more extensive discussions.
In the afternoon a smaller group will have the chance to discover Tronics and Soitec activities. A general presentation of each company will be made, followed by a visit of their premises. One of the buses will take them from Minatec to Tronics in Crolles and Soitec in Bernin and will then take them back to Lyon.
