img Vélo'v.

Since May 2005, The Grand Lyon (urban community) has made available to the public a bicycle hire system called Vélo'v.
Today there are over 4.000 Vélo'v on more than 340 bike stations. Free for the first 30 minutes, you can take a bicycle to go from one place to another. The Vélo'v service is available over 14 year old.

Where can you find vélo’v stations?
Located in Lyon and Villeurbanne, the stations are mainly near the metro and bus stations. The network was conceived to have a station every 300 metres on average and with less than 5 minutes on foot to between stations.
This service is available 7 days a week, 24 hours/day.
