TRANSDUCERS’ has grown into the largest multidisciplinary conference on Microsensors, Microactuators and Microsystems, with typically 900 attendees from government and industry who gather every two years to exchange the latest advances in the field.

After Boston, Delft, Philadelphia, Tokyo, Montreux, San Francisco, Yokohama, Stockholm, Chicago, Sendai, Munich, Boston and Seoul, we will be very pleased to welcome you in Lyon for the 14th edition of the conference: TRANSDUCERS’07

The conference will be held in conjunction with EUROSENSORS XXI, the annual conference that covers the same field of research in Europe. EUROSENSORS began in 1987 in Cambridge and the tradition has been to join the two conferences when Transducers is in Europe. It was the case in Montreux 1989, Stockholm 1995 and Munich 2001. Once again, we will benefit in Lyon of the excellent relations between the two Steering Committees to have a very complete overview of the latest R&D results.

After a plenary session on Monday morning the technical program will consist of parallel oral sessions and poster presentations. Invited speakers will give insightful overviews on key topics during the plenary session and throughout the conference. Short courses will be proposed on Sunday and an exhibition will take place during all four days, giving the opportunity for laboratories, companies and scientific associations to introduce their activities. Last but not least, social events for attendees and guests will allow an introduction to the typically French atmosphere of the historic centre of Lyon which has been classified as one of the UNESCO world heritage sites.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Transducers'07, Lyon, FRANCE.
